On Team Aalborg Energy our work is centered around a hydrogen-fuel-cell car. The work culminates in a trip to Shell’s Eco-Marathon, hosted by London city as of 2019, where we compete against other top notch universities from Europe.
The trip is, however, SOO much more than just competing, it is also about seeing the work we put into the car as a team coming to fruition. It is the release of all the tension accumulated over the last year of work, when the car finally drives the first 100 meters on the race track.
The follow-up to such a release is naturally partying and we Danes are famous for being a little crazy. (‘Work Hard, Party Hard’ seems fair) We are in fact the best in the world at playing “monkey ball/Kævle”.
